Dr. Emmanuel Reinbold completed his undergraduate degree at Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs and his master’s online through Indiana Wesleyan University. His Doctoral work was completed through Olivet Nazarene University. Emmanuel has served in pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene for the past twelve years, serving first in Nebraska before spending the last eight years in Davenport, Iowa.
Admittedly, Emmanuel did not come into college with a good attitude about learning, but because of a multitude of professors across my educational journey, he fell in love with learning. While he believes passionately in the content that he teaches, he also wants to be an instructor that helps students fall in love with learning.
He loves teaching for Olivet Online because of the great support system in place for the students and the faculty. When a student is facing a challenging situation in life, he knows that he can reach out to the chaplain or advisor and the student will receive the support needed for the situation. He also greatly appreciates the helpful and friendly support of the faculty support team.
Most importantly, Emmanuel loves the opportunity to watch students grow in their faith journey throughout the courses that he teaches. Most students have some understanding of Christianity but have not taken the time to think through the specifics. He enjoys the opportunity to help students process the truths of Christianity and determine how they can apply these truths in their own lives.
Emmanuel has been married to his wife Janelle for 20 years. Together, they have two daughters. Olivia is 14, and Ava is 11. They also have a cat TJ and a Golden Doodle named Wesley.
