The Bachelor of Applied Science in Leadership (BSL) Degree is designed to help you learn the business skills necessary to reach your educational and career goals if you aspire to be a leader or want to take your leadership knowledge, skills and abilities to the next level. You’ll learn the ins and outs of organizational communication and motivation, how to apply leadership and management principles, and how to use leadership as an act of service. Plus, you’ll be able to hone your leadership skills as you gain a greater understanding of relationships, teamwork, behavior, communications, and ethics (all without the finance-heavy curriculum).

Global Immersion

This one of a kind program links experience, culture, and business in some of the most dynamic business climates in the world. On the trip, you will have the opportunity to connect with other students in your class group. Students often tell us it is a major highlight of the program.

The trip is 8-10 days and occurs during the Global Immersion class. While the trip is not required, it is highly recommended. It can easily be added to a financial aid plan.

Program Cost Details

Payment Policy for courses that begin on or after July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021

Payment Options

Option A – Financial Aid

Students must make arrangements to apply for federal financial aid through Olivet Nazarene University. To inquire about financial aid please call 815-939-5245.

Option B – Payment Plan

Students have the option to make monthly installments for the balance each term. Payment amounts will vary depending on the number of credit hours in the term. Please contact the Student Financial Services team at studentfinance@olivet.edu or 815-939-5245 for more details.

Option C – Approximate for Total Package

Total package price may be paid in full by check, cashier's check, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard, and is due prior to the first day of class. Credit/debit card payments are subject to a 2% service charge. Total due depends on the number of courses taken in the academic year. Please contact the Student Financial Services team at studentfinance@olivet.edu or 815-939-5245 for more details.

GEN ED/Electives: Olivet requires all undergraduate students to take two upper level Bible courses in addition to any general education and/or elective courses needed to reach the required 120 credit hours for graduation. The Bible courses, gen ed, and elective courses outside of Applied Science Core and Applied Science Electives tracks will be charged at a rate of $275 per credit hour for 100-200 level courses and $400 per credit hour for 300-500 level courses.
