The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degree is designed to help you earn your Bachelor’s Degree in Business if you have already completed an associate’s degree in a vocational or technical field. Olivet will transfer up to 82 hours of your A.S. or A.A.S. degree and apply them toward your bachelor’s degree as elective credit. Olivet recognizes the value of your technical training, and earning a bachelor’s degree can help you advance your career. From managing business resources to understanding financial concepts and strategy, as a BAS student you will learn to the skills necessary to take your career to the next level. Plus, you'll be able to hone your leadership skills as you gain a greater understanding of relationships, teamwork, behavior, communication, and ethics.
If you are qualified, the Master’s Path electives allow you to complete advanced elective coursework in the areas of Leadership, Healthcare, Corporate Communications & Media Strategy, and Nonprofit Management. These advanced courses count as credit for both the bachelor and Olivet master programs —allowing you to complete up to 1/3 of your master’s degree as a bachelor student.
