If you have completed your MSN and want to broaden your knowledge base in preparation for a leadership role or doctoral study, this Post-Master's Transformational Leadership Certificate Track is designed for you. The goal of the Transformational Leadership concentration is to transform you personally and professionally. Throughout the track, you will interact with a variety of multidisciplinary representatives to explore best practices. You will develop, test, and evaluate ideas relevant to nursing practice, along with critically examining concepts and theories in relation to leadership. These skills will help you as you systematize moral, ethical, spiritual, and professional concepts into your sphere of influence to lead change within the healthcare environment. Business skills have been integrated into the curriculum to give you a competitive edge and provide a solid foundation for entry into an advanced nursing practice leadership role. Upon completion of this certificate track, you will have acquired skills to better advocate for others, promote positive change, improve outcomes, and effectively collaborate within the interprofessional team.

This track allows you to either complete two business courses from the MBA core and then transfer them towards an MBA degree in the future, or puts you on the path to earn one of the following certificates* in addition to the Post-Master's Transformational Leadership certificate:
MBA CORE LEADERSHIP NON PROFIT MANAGEMENT CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
*If students would like to obtain an additional Business certificate, they will need to take additional coursework on top of the Post-Master's Transformational Leadership track.
A master's level business course, completed within five years of matriculation at Olivet with a B or higher, may be accepted as a substitute for a comparable core course in programs that permit transfer credit.
